After then, Punjabi films took over, and many new stars emerged as a result. Syed Afzaal Ahmed is one such well-known name. He is an accomplished actor who has appeared in several successful films. He has also worked in television, where he was renowned for his command of the English language and his commanding presence on screen.
Together with Sultan Rahi, Afzaal Ahmed created both positive and bad characters. He is most known for his work on the movies Wehshi Jatt, Shareef Badmash, and Chan Varyam.
Afzaal Ahmed was paralyzed for some years and has been through a lot of health issues.
He was brought to General Hospital Lahore after suffering a cerebral haemorrhage. His condition continued to deteriorate, and on Friday, December 2, 2022, he passed away. May Allah have mercy on the departed soul and grant his family patience!
