Muhammad Farooq Sattar is a Pakistani politician who has formerly been Convener and the leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan. Born in Karachi, Sattar was educated at the Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi. Sattar began his political career in 1987 as the Mayor of Karachi.
